What makes Dr. RK School different?

RELISH KFETERIA

The school has its own canteen “Relish Kfeteria” that serves delicious food with a hygienic surrounding. One must have a good health to give the best in studies and we arrange for the same to ensure that the students do not put their efforts with empty stomach or depending on cheap fast food. Inside “Relish Kfeteria” they will also have the healthy environment for group celebration like birthday etc. Moreover, students can avail cashless service at the canteen using Cafeteria Wallet.

HOSTEL LIFE OF RK

The School provides hostel facility to the students from outside Dibrugarh. At present the RK School & Career Point have nine boys' hostel and ten girls' hostel with limited seat capacity which are directly under the supervision of the school authority. Moreover doubt sessions in hostel are also provided for more conceptual clarity.

HYBRID PLATFORM

Dr. Radhakrishnan School of Arts, Commerce & Science in association with Career Point Eduventure Pvt. Ltd. has started its digital journey in the year 2020. Video lectures were recorded to help the students in Covid 19 situation. But from the year 2023, we have opened a complete digital library where more than 5000 videos of all subjects are available, and most of the notes are also available. These students can access the videos and notes for further conceptual clarity sitting in the digital library during their off-class, break time, or after-class hours. Some of the hostels have also been provided with computer sets for the same purpose.

Programmes & Events

We believe “Education is an all round drawing out of the best in the child and man; body,mind and spirit.” So, we organise various programmes and events which give the students a platform to exhibit their talent in various fields.

Freshers social and farewell are two regular programmes organised each year to welcome the first year students and to bid goodbye to the outgoing batch where students engage in one or the other cultural activity.

‘Dialactic’ is an all Assam debate competition started in the year 2016 where students not only from this institution but also from other institutions of various parts of the state participate with their bold and convincing arguments.

‘R.K. Run’ is another addition to make the students physically fit which was started in the year 2017 as mini marathon.

Academic activity week is also celebrated where students perform various academic activities like mock election, quiz, seminar ,workshop, exhibition etc. which provides them with a practical knowledge of the content they are studying.
